Description
Four Qul in Maghrebi script inspired by 10th century illuminated Qur’an leaf. The distinct cursive script was developed by the people of Southern Spain (Andalusia) and Northern Africa. Print is from the original painting designed and hand painted by Shafina Ali using 24carat genuine gold leaf, ink, watercolour and gouache on tea stained Fabriano Artisco hot press Watercolour paper.
Alhamdulillah the original set was exhibited at three different venue in UK.
